On Thursday 19th November from 11 to 13 our teacher Cristina Aparicio will present her book “Las Islas de las gaviotas” online.
The presentation is scheduled within “the Literary Meetings on Thursday” of the Degree Course in Modern Languages and Literatures of the Degree Course in Modern Languages and Literatures of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures of the University of Turin. Together with our Cristina there will be Felisa Bermejo, author of numerous books on Spanish and Italian-Spanish contrastive grammar.
Here is a small preview of the plot:
Students from Liceo Valle Cantón leave for a summer camp on the Cíes Islands, a national park on the north-western Atlantic coast of Spain, in Galicia. What promised to be a peaceful stay, in contact with nature, becomes a real adventure for Ahmed, Lupe, Paulo and Sabela who, thanks to an unexpected encounter, will discover the secrets that are hidden in this naturalistic paradise.
“It is an A2 / B1 level escolar booklet that I wrote this summer and it is set in islands (islas Cíes) that are part of a national park that is in my area (Galicia) in Spain.”
