Our history
Vittoria International School (VIS) is the most recent step in an ongoing path towards the experimentation and internationalization of programs at the Istituto Vittoria.
VIS both explains and justifies our company claim, EXCELLENCE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES.
The path that led to the foundation of VIS started in 2006 with the application to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), an international organization based in Geneva, to become an IB World School and start a new course of studies entirely taught in English.
The school was granted authorization by the IBO in 2008, and classes started in the 2008/2009 school year.
In 2009 the school applied to the University of Cambridge International Examinations to become a Cambridge International Center and was granted authorization to start a two-year course of studies leading to the ICE diploma.
The full four-year program started off with the 2010/2011 school year.
